We are thrilled to announce that Burgers and Bands for Suicide Prevention has been chosen to be part of the charity partner program with the Marine Corps Marathon this year. This is an incredible opportunity for us to raise awareness and funds for suicide prevention while also participating in one of the most prestigious marathons in the world.

We have 50 entries for the marathon, 20 for the 10k and 5 for the 50K. Runners will need to raise $1500 for Burgers and Bands. But don't worry - Burgers and Bands and Ann's Social Media & Marketing will work to help promote your efforts every step of the way! Get your bib while we still have them!

For the second year in a row, Altra Running and Charm City Run are stepping up by donating a portion of every Altra running shoe sale at their Annapolis store throughout September. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ Their generosity amplifies our mission, and we couldn't be more grateful.

Save the Date for our 2023 music festival at Severna Park Taphouse.

Our goal is to show people in our community that they are not alone in their struggles with mental illness. Burgers and Bands for Suicide Prevention represents hope for a light at the end of the tunnel.

The money raised at this event goes back into the schools and community for mental health initiaitives. To date, we have provided peace walks, sensory walks, calming boxes, support groups, mental health training, mindfulness classes and speakers for elementary, middle and high schools throughout Anne Arundel County.

And still, the thing we are most proud of is the event itself. The number of parents we have spoken to who credit Burgers and Bands events for showing their children that it is okay to ask for help is astounding. We could not be more proud to be a part of this community event.

About this event:
Grab your beach chairs, umbrellas, blankets, and kick-back while enjoying live music at StageOne at MC3 as we honor the strong veteran community here in Annapolis.

The evening will feature bands including Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Pressing Strings, Honey Sol, and Brunswick!! Join us as we celebrate the 2nd year of Warriors in the Park.

In addition to the music, there will be a silent auction, multiple food and drink trucks, and local veterans organizations.

Food and drinks will be available from local food and drink trucks. Guests will not be permitted to bring their own food or alcohol into the venue.
